Why Our Training Makes the Difference
Both Dr. G and Dr. Jon graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College. Their additional training includes Focus Certification, Epic Peds, Webster Technique, cranial adjusting, and acupuncture certification (Dr. G). They continuously pursue advanced education in neurologically focused care.
Pediatric care is a core specialty of our practice, not a side service. Both doctors are trained and experienced in pediatric chiropractic, from newborns to teenagers.
Do all doctors at Smith Elite treat children? Yes. Both Dr. G and Dr. Jon are trained and experienced in pediatric chiropractic. Using CLA INSiGHT scans and gentle adjustments, our neurologically-focused pediatric care addresses the root of your child's challenges.
Are the doctors certified in prenatal and pediatric care? Yes. Both are Webster Certified and have completed over 1,000 hours of postgraduate pediatric training including Focus Certification and Epic Peds. Dr. G and Dr. Jon bring Webster certification and over 1,000 hours of training to our prenatal and family care program.

Dr. Garrett Smith, DC, "Dr. G"
Dr. Garrett Smith founded Smith Elite Family Chiropractic in 2016 after his own health journey led him to discover the power of neurologically focused chiropractic care. Growing up, he dealt with unresolved health challenges and watched his younger brother struggle with developmental difficulties. Those experiences lit a fire in him to find a better way.
Dr. G graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College and went on to complete over 1,000 hours of postgraduate training in pediatric and prenatal chiropractic. He's Focus Certified, Epic Peds trained, Webster Certified, and holds additional certifications in cranial adjusting and acupuncture.
He played college football and suffered multiple concussions, which is why concussion recovery is a personal passion. He's also experienced migraines, anxiety, and depression firsthand, giving him a deep understanding of nervous system challenges from the inside.
Dr. G's mission is simple: give every family in Liberty access to the kind of care that changed his life.
Dr. Jonathan Walburg, DC, "Dr. Jon"
Dr. Jon brings energy, heart, and an athletic background to Smith Elite. He graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College and has completed extensive postgraduate training in pediatric and family chiropractic, earning his Focus Certification and Epic Peds training alongside Dr. G.
Before chiropractic, Dr. Jon was a competitive athlete. He won a national basketball championship in college and competed on Team USA Kettlebell in 2023. He understands what the body goes through at high levels of performance and how the nervous system is the foundation of it all.
Dr. Jon is passionate about helping kids and families function at their best. Whether he's adjusting a newborn or helping a teen athlete recover, he brings the same care and attention to every patient.
